Life has definitely shifted after adding Bug to the family. That 2 to 3 transition is no joke…and honestly, I feel like we are still working on that. Our homeschool daily routine on the other hand I feel like we’ve got it figured out!
Over the years while our family routine is constantly shifting and altering as the season of life changes I have found that we tend to stick to a basic routine that honestly doesn’t change all that much! I guess if it’s working for us why change it?!
I want to start a tradition. Every fall I want to make a family update. Think of it like the letters your grandparents used to send out with their Christmas cards every year. A quick recap of what life has been like and how everyone is doing.

We own more books than anything else I would say. Instilling a love of books and reading is so so important for little brains. I won’t get into the science behind it, I’m not nearly educated enough to do so! lol
To this day I love to read (having the time to do so is another story…) and I hope that Sidney grows up to love reading as much as her daddy and I do.
Everyone is more than they make themselves out to be. You never know what you may have in common with someone else. In an effort to give you a little more info about me and maybe find some of that common ground, I pulled together a list of random facts. They make up part of who am. Megan, who is more than just a mama. Leave a comment if we have any of these things in common!
Bitty has been on a routine of some kind her whole life. her 18 month routine has just evolved naturally as her needs change. With the exception of us learning her sleep needs as a baby she has been a very good kid as far as going with the flow and I don’t know if that has anything to do with our routines but it makes it nice when I have to change things up a bit!
