Today we add the last installment of the 4 step sensory bin formula; Sensory Bin Toys. If you have been following along you will remember that I did a post on my favorite fillers and my favorite tools. Now we talk about the extra stuff, the fun stuff, and the manipulative stuff!
Everyone and their grandma will have a say in the toys that you MUST HAVE to keep your toddler happy. I wanted to provide my personal list of 1-year-old must-have toys as a guide to the toys that have been played with day in and day out and she kept coming back for more. Obviously we have more than these toys but these were definitely her favorites. I feel like they would easily be winners in any toddlers toy box!
Its time for another play shelfie! This week’s toy rotation has been brewing in the back of my mind for a week now. It seems my brain never stops planning. I am going to be trying something a little new this week so we will see how it goes!
I am all for letting a child have access to as much of the house as possible. We keep cleaning supplies up high or locked away and small choking hazards also out of her reach, but other than that its free for her to explore
The living/ dining room is our home base for most of the day. This is where her toys that are out on rotation are displayed. We are lucky enough to have a spacious living room with space for multiple toddler play spaces!
